Who doesn’t love a summertime milkshake!
And if you make it with coffee ice cream it’s rich in antioxidants, not to mention awesomeness.
Here’s our master recipe and 1 secret ingredient that will turn your coffee milkshake from good to great
Master Recipe (makes 1 serving):
– 4 large scoops of ice cream (homemade if you can)
– 1/4 cup of milk
– 1/4 cup of coffee or 1oz of espresso
– 1 milk chocolate or dark chocolate bar << (Secret ingredient)
Put coffee ice cream and milk in blender.
Use a vegetable peeler to shave long slivers of chocolate bar into the blender, about 1/4 cup. This adds richness and body. We prefer 70% cacao to balance the sweetness of the ice cream This is the secret ingredient.
Blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute (depending on your blender).
Pour into a glass and voila!
