The video is the creation of Helsinki-based artist Lucas Zanotto.
It begins with someone grating a single bean (literally) of coffee with an emery board nail file. Over a single candle, he then proceeds to boil what looks like a thimble-full of water, then carefully pours the water over the grinds.
Either this is brilliant or we’re being mocked. Either way we love it. This is how much we savor our coffee.
