As the caffeine enters your bloodstream, your heart rate and blood pressure start to increase.
You start to feel more alert and focused. You feel less tired because caffeine crowds out your adenosine receptors. You find it easier to make decisions. You feel more confident.
Your body releases more adrenaline and cortisol. This boosts your energy and even improves vision as your pupils dilate slightly. You can bike, run, play longer while feeling less effort.
Your mental clarity improves due to the release of the neurotransmitter serotonin. This also improves the firing of motor neurons, improving strength. This is the ideal time to work out.
